Oct. 13 Meeting Preview: Yarn Tasting featuring LYS All About Yarn

One of the best things about living in the Twin Cities area is the variety and number of local yarn shops that offer beautiful yarns and accessories, as well as a place to socialize with other yarn enthusiasts. At our October meeting, All About Yarn, a crochet-friendly yarn shop located in Coon Rapids, will give us a chance to see, touch and test a variety of yarns.

All About Yarn will have items for sale and can accept cash, check or credit cards. Even if you aren't in the market for adding to your stash, this will be a great opportunity to try some new yarns and learn more about the events and activities this LYS has to offer.

The meeting will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Textile Center, with the following schedule:

10 to 11 a.m. - Open crochet
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Announcements, show and tell
12 to 1 p.m. - Yarn Tasting
1 to 2 p.m. - Open crochet

Note: The $5 attendance fee will be waived for non-members for this special event.
