Here is an inventory, as of June 2024, of Twin Cities local yarn shops and yarn sources and not so local yarn shops in outstate Minnesota. I’ve included Minnesota festivals that have yarn vendors and all the various independent hand dyers I could find. The Minnesota Grown Directory from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture lists 32 farms that supply wool, though I suspect there are more. I tried to limit the list below to farms that sell yarn.
