There were a couple of new yarns provided by sponsors that the ladies are eager to try: Red Heart "It's a Wrap" yarn and Lion Brand's "ZZ Twist" yarn. The description of the ZZ Twist yarn from Lion Brand's website is exciting - it was specifically designed with crocheters in mind! It's twisted the same direction as the yarn wraps around a crocheter's hook (don't you hate it when yarn unravels when you're crocheting?). Can't wait to hear what they have to say about their experience with this new yarn!
Everyone enjoyed their classes and especially loved classes taught by Pauline Turner and Edie Eckman. Both Pauline and Edie have several books that would make great resources.All in all, it sounds like our members had loads of fun being fully immersed in all things crochet - connecting with old friends and making new ones.
