It's a beautiful day to crochet!

We had a phenomenal turnout at HarMar today!  Given the holiday weekend and the beautiful weather, I wasn't sure what to expect, but 20 members & guests showed up to kick off the long weekend with some fiber fun! One of the guests, Tony, showed off a gorgeous teal & purple beaded shawl that drew a lot of attention. Out of the 6 guests today; 3 of them joined CTC before leaving! When you see Lorraine, Megan or Sarah at a future meeting, be sure to welcome them!  

There was a lot of buzz around the upcoming cruise, member gifts & CTC branded items for sale. We will continue to offer opportunities to order the branded items as long as there is interest, so if you are struggling to make a choice, you can always add on later. If you have questions or missed the special edition newsletter sent out, please reach out to ctclist or a board member.  

There are so many fun fiber things to do this summer.  The St. Cloud Spin Fest & Fiber Fair is happening next weekend. Our cruise is June 10th, our current count is 14 members attending, I brought my laptop to the meeting today, and we were able to order tickets, so join us if you can.  Details on the previous blog below and CTC Paddleford Lunch Cruise | Facebook.  Herrschner's is having their annual warehouse sale on June 14 - 18.  Did you realize that Steven's Point where the warehouse is located is only a 4.5 hour drive from the cities?  Road trip anyone? The Zombie Knitpocalype is coming to Rochester in late June. Of course, there's the retreat, the last weekend in June as well.  

Bree stopped by after the Milk Run, and it was a good reminder that CTC will be demonstrating at the State Fair 2-3 days this year.  More details will come via the newsletter & at meetings.
